Android app: Troubleshooting
If you’re having trouble using the Harvest for Android app—whether it's freezing sporadically, responding slowly, or not showing updated project information—here are some general troubleshooting steps you can take. There’s also a separate article with information about unsynced entries.
Make sure your device’s date and time are being set automatically
From your device’s home screen or list of apps:
- Tap the Settings app icon.
- Tap System, then tap Date & time.
- Make sure Use network-provided time is switched on.
Check that you’re using the latest version of Harvest for Android
- Go to the Google Play Store on your device and search for Harvest (the app is listed as Harvest Time & Expense Tracker).
- Tap UPDATE.
Clear cache
From your device’s home screen or list of apps:
- Tap and hold the Harvest for Android app icon on your screen until a menu pops up.
- Tap App info.
- Tap Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear storage.
Uninstall and reinstall the app
From your device’s home screen or list of apps:
- Tap and hold the Harvest for Android app icon and drag it to the top of your screen, then drop it on the Uninstall trash can icon option.
- Download and install Harvest for Android again from the Google Play Store.
