Accounts receivable report
The Receivables report gives you a quick view of all money owed to you, broken down by client and by how long each invoice has been outstanding. Use it to spot overdue balances at a glance and follow up with the right clients at the right time.
Accessing the Receivables report
In the left navigation sidebar, go to Reports and select Receivables under the Invoices section. The link is visible to account administrators and managers with permission to view all invoices.
If you're not using the left navigation sidebar, you can find Receivables in the sub-navigation at the top of any Invoices page.
Understanding the report
The report displays one row per client, grouped by currency. Each row shows:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Customers | The client name |
| Total | The total invoiced amount across all open invoices for that client |
| Outstanding | The remaining unpaid amount |
| 1–30 days | Amount due on invoices that became overdue within the last 30 days |
| 31–60 days | Amount due on invoices 31–60 days overdue |
| 61–90 days | Amount due on invoices 61–90 days overdue |
| 90+ days | Amount due on invoices more than 90 days overdue |
A currency totals row appears above each group of clients when you have invoices in more than one currency.
Note: The report only includes open, sent, and late invoices with a due date set and an outstanding balance. Draft, paid, and closed invoices are not included. Invoices without a due date are excluded from the aging buckets but are still reflected in the Outstanding and Total columns.
Filtering by client
To focus on a specific client, use the client filter at the top of the report. The report will update to show only that client's outstanding invoices.
Drilling down into the detail
Any amount shown in the report is a clickable link. Clicking a figure takes you directly to the Invoice Archive pre-filtered to show the invoices that make up that amount — including the relevant client and date range for the aging bucket you clicked.
Exporting the report
To export the report, click the export button in the top-right area of the page and choose either CSV or Excel. The export includes all clients (not just the current page), with columns for client name, currency, total, outstanding, and each of the four aging buckets. If a client filter is active, the export will reflect that filter.
Pagination
The report displays up to 50 client rows per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to move between pages.
Who can see the Receivables report
The Receivables report is available to users with permission to view all invoices (typically account administrators and managers). It is not visible to users with restricted invoice access.
