Does Harvest offer two-factor authentication (2FA) or single sign-on (SSO) options?
Harvest supports single sign-on (SSO) through Google and SAML SSO, as well as two-factor authentication (2FA).
Note that not all options are available to all plan types.
Google SSO
If you use a Gmail or Google Workspace email address, you can use the Sign in with Google button for one-click sign-in. Administrators can also require the use of Google Sign-In for everyone in a Harvest account.
As long as you stay signed in to your Google account (and don’t manually sign out of Harvest), you’ll also stay signed in to Harvest. This is perfect for companies using Google Workspace or individuals using Gmail.
If you sign in with Google, we honor the security settings you’ve configured there. So, if two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled in Google/Google Workspace, 2FA will also be required when using Google to sign in to Harvest. You can learn how to enable Google's 2FA in Google's documentation. This is separate from Harvest's own 2FA functionality.
SAML SSO
Harvest supports SAML SSO if your account is on our Premium plan. Administrators can enable SAML SSO from Settings > Sign in security. For more information please refer to the SAML SSO section of our Help Center.
Two-factor authentication
Administrators can enable two-factor authentication for an entire Harvest account from the account's settings.
