Can contractors invoice me using the time they’ve tracked in my account?

Contractors are not able to invoice you for their tracked time directly from within your account.

All invoices generated from your Harvest account are designed to be from your company to your clients. Harvest isn’t set up to handle internal invoices or reimbursement.

An alternative would be for your contractors to set up their own Harvest accounts and invoice you from there, instead. They can export their time from your account and import it into their own to generate the invoice.

To help you match up hours with any contractor invoices you receive, you can head to the contractor report in your account. That report will allow you to easily see all active contractors along with their total hours and cost within a given timeframe.

Deel integration

Some plan types also support an integration with Deel, a tool used by teams with global contractors. By linking Harvest to Deel, Administrators on your team can copy time entries from Harvest to Pay As You Go contracts in Deel, so you can pay global team members with ease on Deel.
