How can I enter a credit in Harvest?

Harvest doesn’t have a credit note feature or a way to specifically track credit. The best way to issue a credit to your client is to deduct the credit from their next invoice. You can do that by editing your invoice to add a line item with a negative value. Here’s how:
- Click the Add Item button that appears beneath the existing line items on the invoice.
- Enter your description.
- In the Unit Price field, enter your credit amount preceded by a minus sign (-). The minus sign will tell Harvest to deduct this amount from your invoice.The Amount Due on the invoice will now reflect the initial fee minus the credit.
