Information about our in-app chatbot

Harvest offers a generative AI chatbot, which is available in the app to all our customers. The goal of this bot is to provide you with 24/7 self-service support. Our bot makes use of the documentation in our Help Center to provide you with clear answers and easy-to-follow instructions.

While the chatbot aims to offer accurate and helpful responses, its information may not always be exhaustive, reliable, up-to-date, or tailored to your specific question. Please exercise caution when interpreting and relying on the information provided, and consult with a human on the Harvest support team where appropriate.

By using our chat feature, you agree that we are not responsible or liable for any actions, losses, or damages resulting from your use of this chat feature, even if we are advised of the possibility of such actions, losses, or damages.  

How to get the most from the bot

  • Use full sentences.
  • Ask one question at a time.
  • Provide clarifying information if the bot doesn’t answer your question fully on the first try.

What the bot can't do

This is new technology, and while our bot is always learning, be aware that it cannot do any of the following things:

  • The bot cannot issue a refund.
    • If you need to request a refund, please contact our support team.
  • The bot cannot make changes to your account.
    • This includes things like updating your plan, tracking time for you, inviting team members, or changing account settings.
  • The bot cannot answer very specific questions about items in your account, such as “Why can't I create an invoice for Project ABC?” However, it can answer general questions about Harvest functionality, such as "How do I create an invoice for a fixed fee project?"

This is not an exhaustive list, so it’s always a good idea to follow up with our support team if you’re unsure about any information the bot has provided.
