Activity log: Projects

The projects activity log (Reports > Activity log > Projects) shows actions taken in the account related to creating and editing projects. This includes project creation, project updates, and project deletion.

What can people see on the projects activity log?

Members can see

  • Members cannot access the projects activity log.

Managers can see

  • Project data for projects they manage only if they have the optional permission to Create projects, and edit projects that they manage.
  • Managers will only see billable rates data if they have the optional permission to See and edit billable rates and amounts for projects and people they manage.

Administrators can see

  • All project data for the account. 

Filtering the projects activity log

  • The projects activity log can be filtered by client, project, task, event type, performed by, and owned by. 
  • The Performed by filter allows you to filter the report to show timesheet actions made by a specific person, including actions they took on another person's timesheet. 
  • The Owned by filter allows you to filter the report to show the actions taken on a specific person's timesheet, including actions taken by others on the person's timesheet. 

Saving a projects activity log report

If your plan supports saved and shared reports, and you'd like to save and/or share this report, use the Save report button. You can access your saved reports from Reports > Saved reports.
