Mobile app: Viewing time reports

In the mobile app for iPhone and Android, you can view a report of your tracked time. If you’re an Administrator, you can also see a report of the entire team’s time.

The Reports tab also has an Invoices report where Administrators and some Managers can view, send, and take some other actions on invoices. You can learn more about that in our article on managing invoices in the mobile app.

For all other reports and exports, please view your Harvest account in a web browser.

Report on your own time

To see your time report, tap the Reports button (graph icon) in the menu at the bottom of your screen, then tap My Time.

What you will see

Your time report has a summary panel at the top of the screen. The numbers you see there reflect the timeframe you are viewing. Depending on your permission level, you might see only Total hours or also a breakdown of Billable and Non-billable hours.

If you are using the Week timeframe option, a bar chart with daily totals will also be displayed in this area.

Below the summary, two tables break down your time by Projects and Tasks.

  • In the Projects table, tap Active projects to choose to view only active projects or all projects.
  • In both tables, tap Total hours to:
    • See HoursBillable hours, or Billable amount for each item. (Depending on your permissions, you may not see all of these options.)
    • Choose a sorting option.

Changing the timeframe

To change the timeframe option, tap the current time period at the top left. You can choose to view the report by week, semimonth, month, quarter, or year.

Here, you can also select a different time period to jump to. For example, if you've chosen the month timeframe option and are currently in November 2022, you can jump directly to, say, June 2021.

To quickly navigate back and forth one time period at a time (for example, November 2022 back to October 2022), tap the arrows to the right of the current timeframe.

Report on your team's time

If you’re an Administrator, the team time report lets you quickly review the week for your whole team right from the app.

To see this report, tap the Reports button (graph icon) in the menu at the bottom of your screen, then tap Team Time.

What you will see

The team time report has a summary panel at the top of the screen. The numbers you see there, for Total hours and Billable and Non-billable hours, reflect the timeframe you are viewing.

Below the summary, you can break down your team's time by tapping on the Projects, Tasks, or Team table.

  • In the Projects table, tap Active projects to choose to view only active projects or all projects.
  • In all tables, tap Total hours to:
    • See HoursBillable hours, or Billable amount for each item.
    • Choose a sorting option.

Note: A teammate's Billable amount will be left blank in the Team table if there are multiple currencies involved.
