Version 2 billing: Updating your payment method or billing details

Administrators in Harvest can manage most billing-related updates in the account's Settings section. Here you can update your billing method, change your subscription type, update billing details such as your card on file, billing address, and receipt/invoice recipients, and access all of the receipts for your Harvest subscription. 

Changing your payment method

Any Administrator can change the billing method for their account by going to Settings (top right) and clicking Billing in the left sidebar. Harvest offers the following payment methods:

  • Credit card—available for all accounts.
  • ACH or wire transfer via an invoice—available for accounts with 10+ people paying yearly. 

NOTE: If you wish to pay via invoice, please contact Harvest Support. We’ll enable a setting on your account to allow for invoice payments.

The exact options you see for changing your payment method in the Billing section of Settings will depend on your current payment method:

Monthly account changes

  • If you currently pay monthly and would like to switch to yearly billing, click the Pay yearly link.
  • If you currently pay for a monthly account with 10+ seats by credit card and would like to request an invoice to be paid by wire transfer or ACH, click the Pay yearly link and then select the Receive an invoice option on the following page.

Yearly account changes (credit card)

  • If you currently pay yearly and would like to switch to monthly billing, click the Pay monthly link. 
  • If you currently pay for a yearly account with 10+ seats by credit card and would like to request an invoice to be paid by wire transfer or ACH, click the Update payment link and then select the Receive an invoice option on the following page.

Yearly account changes (invoice)

  • If you currently pay for a yearly account by invoice and would like to pay by credit card, click the Update payment link and then select the Pay by credit card option on the following page.
  • If you currently pay for a yearly account by invoice and would like to pay monthly, you’ll first need to pay by credit card. To do that, click the Update payment link and then select the Pay by credit card option on the following page. After you switch to credit card payments, you’ll then click the Pay monthly link.

Updating your billing info

Any Administrator can change the billing method for their account by going to Settings (top right) and clicking Billing in the left sidebar.

  1. Head to Settings (top right).
  2. Select Billing in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the Update payment link to edit the credit card and/or billing address details.
  4. Click Save billing details after making any changes.

Please note that you won't be charged again for your subscription until your next billing date. 

Harvest receipts and invoices

If you pay for Harvest by credit card, you’ll receive an email for each payment from which you can download your invoice and receipt for the charge. Yearly accounts with 10+ seats that choose to pay by invoice will receive an email for the invoice and then a separate email containing the receipt once the invoice has been paid.

Receipt and invoice recipients

Harvest receipts and invoices are sent to the Account Owner and anyone else specified as a receipt recipient. Administrators can add or remove receipt recipients by taking the following steps:

  1. Head to Settings (top right).
  2. Select Billing in the left sidebar.
  3. Click the Update payment link.
  4. Add the necessary email addresses to the Email recipients section.
  5. Click Save billing details at the bottom of the page.

Viewing past receipts 

Harvest receipts are emailed after successful payment and can also be viewed by Administrators at any time from within your account. To view your Harvest receipts:

  1. Head to Settings (top right).
  2. Select Billing in the left sidebar.
  3. In the Billing details section, find the Payment method area and click the Billing history link.
