Because Managers have many optional permissions, it could be helpful to know what a Manager can never do. Managers can never:

• See other people’s time and expenses outside of projects they manage and/or their assigned people.
  • Exception: In accounts with online payment and the client dashboard enabled, Managers with the optional permission to send invoices for projects they manage can access the client dashboard via an invoice's Preview option. From the client dashboard, they can see other invoices for that client, which may include time and expenses for projects the Manager does not manage.
• View the profitability report. 
• See cost rates and amounts.
• Manage or view account-wide Settings. 
• Close the account.
• Invite people to join the account.
• Withdraw approval of timesheets for others.
• Edit locked time and expenses.
• Access expense categories from Manage > Expense categories. 
• Access the contractor report. 
• Create or manage retainer invoices from Invoices > Retainers. They can set invoices based on tracked time and expenses to draw from retainers though. 
• Run invoice reports from Invoices > Report.
• Set a recurring invoice to automatically be sent. 
• Access invoice and estimate settings from Invoices > Configure and Estimates > Configure. 
• Access roles from Manage > Roles. 
• Use bulk actions on the detailed time and detailed expense reports.
