Harvest doesn't have a built-in way to search time entries by the Notes field. 

The best way to go about searching by Notes would be to run a detailed time report and then use the Export function to export an Excel or CSV file. Your notes will be included in that export, and you'll be able to use your spreadsheet program to search the resulting spreadsheet.
